The kingdom of Bahrain is located in the Middle Eastern archipelago in the Persian Gulf, tucked into a pocket of the sea and flanked by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Though she is sited in a desert Bahrain has many attractions and things to do therefore a trip here could never be boring. There are many cities in Bahrain like Hamad Town, Isa Town, Muharraq and the capital Manama. There are many things to see as well and you can start by the capital, which is a modern city with Manhattan-style skyline. The ancient city capital Bilad al-Qadim presents much of Bahrain’s history. This county has a prehistoric cemetery which is probably the largest in the world. You can look inside The House of Beit-al-Jasra which is a wonderful example of traditional Bahraini architecture, with exquisite external simplicity and built from local building materials like corals.

Naturally enough, tourist brochures warn visitors away from the intensely hot summer months (early June to mid-September), when the sea is flat and vaporous, the cold tap runs hot and even the grass is too peppery to walk on.
