The kingdom of Bahrain is located in the Middle Eastern archipelago in the Persian Gulf, tucked into a pocket of the sea and flanked by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. There are many things to see as well and you can start by the capital, which is a modern city with Manhattan-style skyline. The ancient city capital Bilad al-Qadim presents much of Bahrain’s history. This county has a prehistoric cemetery which is probably the largest in the world. You can look inside The House of Beit-al-Jasra which is a wonderful example of traditional Bahraini architecture, with exquisite external simplicity and built from local building materials like corals.
